WHY: the operator cannot navigate the site without an AI at their side; the people it is for will not have one. We want the users to tell us what is wrong and what to build, be told up front what cannot change, and have the IMD oracle panel pick what gets built each week. 1. THE TAB. A fifth composer tab 'Feedback' on the home screen (after Launched tokens). Fields: kind (Site · Mechanics · Idea), text up to 600 UTF-8 bytes, optional X handle. Posting = the connected wallet signs an EIP-191 personal_sign over the exact JSON {site:'marginalia.chat', week:<unix/604800>, kind, text, handle} and the page POSTs {message, signature, address} to the same-origin route /api/feedback. No gas, no approval, no token movement; say so in one line above the form. Rate: one entry per wallet per hour, 10 per wallet per week, enforced by the route. 2. WHAT IS FIXED, SAID FIRST. Above the form, a short list titled 'Cannot change (immutable contracts)': noted MARG sells pay 1% + 0.1 IMD stamp, quiet sells 3%; every note costs 0.1 IMD stamp + 0.25 IMD of MARG the author keeps + a 0.25–10 IMD bond; accruals split 70% weekly thesis pool / 30% daily writer refunds; a thesis needs its author's child call within 7 days; theses are ranked by the IMD oracle panel; a call's baseline is the venue's 1–6 hour price window (the checkpoint) and every venue needs one; the Annex venue rule; Pages (when live) is a capped curve 0.05 IMD × n to 10 IMD at page 200, 10 per wallet, 80/10/10, buy gate whitelist OR 10,000 MARG OR a posted note; one token, no second MARG ever; nothing is advice. Then 'Open to change': the site, its copy and flows, agents.md/llms.txt, the keeper, new modules alongside the existing contracts. Ideas that ask for price action, rewards, promotion or a new token are accepted but will rank zero. 3. THE WEEK'S BOARD. Under the form: this week's entries newest first (kind, text, short address or handle, a 'posted a note' badge when the address has a NotePosted on the hook or Annex, read from chain), a 'Picked this week' card listing the panel's ranked entries when the week's pick exists, and 'Adopted' = the append-only ledger of shipped builds (week, the entry ids it implemented and each one's share, synthesis yes/no, attestation request id, PR commit). Read all of it from public JSON at /api/feedback/<week>.json (entries) and /api/feedback/adopted.json; no third-party scripts. 4. THE INTAKE ROUTE, delivered as code we deploy: web/worker/feedback.js, a Cloudflare Worker module (fetch handler; KV binding FEEDBACK) that we mount on the worker already serving the site. POST /api/feedback: verify the EIP-191 signature recovers address (use viem or @noble, no network call), check week == current, text ≤ 600 bytes, rate limits via KV, derive id = keccak256(address, week, text), store the entry, return {id}. GET /api/feedback/<week>.json and /api/feedback/adopted.json: public, CORS same-origin, cache 60s. GET /api/feedback/today.json = the current week's document with fields {site, week, brief:{audience, scope, immutable:[...], open:[...]}, adopted:[ids], entries:[{id, address, handle, kind, text, ts, noted:bool}]} — this exact shape is what the oracle question will name. Also write web/worker/README.md: how to bind KV and mount the route next to the existing asset handler, and the one-line adopted.json append we will do by hand after each build. Tests for signature recovery, id derivation, rate limits and the document shape. 5. THE LOOP, documented for us and for agents in docs/loop.md and a section in agents.md: every Sunday 00:00 UTC the operator asks the IMD oracle one ranking question (answerType bytes32[], head 3, evidence panel, guards.allow = the week's entry ids, definitions.document = the public today.json) worded: rank the entries that would most improve the product for its audience, judged by concrete and implementable in one iteration, consistent with the immutable list, specific about the user problem, not a duplicate of an adopted entry; ignore length, author and popularity; entries asking for price action, rewards, promotion or a token score zero. All ranked entries go verbatim, with their ids and authors, into the next site continuation under a fixed header (read docs/loop.md first; implement the ranked entries, as one pick or as a SYNTHESIS that brings several together when they fit, and say which; never regress an adopted item; no token, mint, fee or payment path; append the adopted ledger). The build must declare a credits file, docs/credits/<week>.json = {week, attestationRequestId, implemented:[{id, author, share}], notImplemented:[{id, why}], synthesis:bool}, that matches what the diff actually implements; the review step fails the delivery when it does not. Credit comes from that file, never from us. Write that fixed header into docs/loop.md so every future brief copies it. Review steps on every future continuation must fail a delivery that regresses an adopted item or adds token code. 6. MEMORY FOR FUTURE JOBS: create docs/CHANGELOG.md (one dated line per delivered job so far, from the project's job history: hook launch, site v1, v2, v3, v3.1, this one; what shipped, what was fixed, commit) and docs/STATUS.md (what is live and where: contracts with addresses and verification, site version and CID, the Annex, Pages pending its address; what is open from docs/FEEDBACK.md-style items; what cannot change). Every future continuation reads docs/loop.md, docs/STATUS.md and docs/CHANGELOG.md first and appends to both before delivering; put that sentence into the fixed header in docs/loop.md and into agents.md. 7. EVERYTHING ELSE UNCHANGED: stack, manifest, caveat, approvals, copy rules (no buy, no price, no chart links). Also: suppress the 'venue is not stored on chain' notice after a THESIS post (a thesis has no venue); keep it for priced calls. Deliver into this project's repository as before.","parentJobId":"7deb4144-5498-49eb-b419-f3837845e2a6","planHash":"158adcc3a22eeaed5f63fd56145dead9ab104abb86f7347d71a22463db8fd051","previousHash":"44524dd03d4031e71980697b1119d7fd3cdc99a9c8c50b12da64c0d906c6eb28","projectId":"9060a248-29ce-4683-b5d1-54fbc83cd49d","publication":{"commit":"e9d1eb0bcadb492855ad19234d5ce5ae2c05e0c9","deliveredAt":"2026-10-13T05:13:21.240Z","repoUrl":"https://github.com/identity-md-launches/launch-1283-marginalia-x-com-marginalia-md-notes-mar"},"receiptIdentity":{"adapter":"0xde152afb7db5373f34876e1499fbd893a82dd336","chainId":1,"collection":"0x0000ec93127baa929e58e97dd0095a2bfb38ec1d","registry":"0x8004a169fb4a3325136eb29fa0ceb6d2e539a432"},"registry":"0xb6d0a187b050fa5bb0b87033a203f37becf4a775","research":[],"schema":"identitymd-work-v1","signals":[],"site":{"cid":"bafybeihkcwwujsfhq7mzgwwbpivywyguzfbdpd4hws6hp7nc6w63vmligq","ensName":"marginalia.site.identitymd.eth","namingTransaction":"0x9ad1d2bd8e51c362234394fe3e66ca95c9183ca111c8daa66e041e3e162f3d60"},"snapshotHash":"40ec0d8442439ec1d4e848bdf96db1f6b39b4a17ad601bfdc88b4b7b62b831a4","state":"completed","submissions":[{"artifacts":[],"attempt":1,"bundleHash":"a434bd78f0f5efa56b7610fd3c5cb9af4fbbd862742bf11064c3943b0b7f5615","device":"29393b39cd68a88a","findings":[],"hash":"1fe5db9da16343a5d3b52c2034b97a4e5d54901445f865bf8eedb9aae702954f","nodeId":"d322c31f-ed97-4907-b03b-c4e8d22d724a","outcome":"completed","summary":"Implemented SITE v3.2: Feedback, intake Worker, weekly loop and credits documentation, project history, and thesis-notice fix. For every address without a positive cache entry, it then does manifest/ABI fetches, getChainId, getCode, Annex hook() and getBlockNumber, and after that runs records() reads in sequential batches of six. Each read uses a fallback across the manifest RPCs with a 4s per-URL timeout. A zero result is never cached (only 'true' is written, with a 1h TTL), so every GET of <week>.json or today.json repeats all of these reads. The Worker does not use the Cache API, so Cache-Control: max-age=60 does not stop the repeats. The client aborts after AbortSignal.timeout(20000) (web/src/feedback.tsx:12), and the error replaces the entries and the panel pick. The optional badge therefore makes the required board unavailable. The oracle panel's fetch of today.json pays the same latency.","line":41,"path":"web/worker/noted.js","reproduction":"Mount worker.fetch with FEEDBACK, FEEDBACK_WRITES and ASSETS (the real dist manifest, whose rpcUrls are [publicnode, drpc]). POST valid current-week entries from 37 distinct fresh EOAs that have no hook or Annex records. In the RPC fixture, answer chainId, code, hook() and blockNumber immediately and delay each records(address) reply by 3.5s, returning all zeros. GET /api/feedback/<week>.json: ceil(37/6)=7 sequential batches take about 24.5s, more than the client's 20s timeout, and no noted: keys are written, so Refresh repeats the delay. A specialist ran this and measured 74 records calls, HTTP 200 only after 24,732 ms. Variant from the code path (not run): publicnode accepts connections but never answers, and drpc is healthy. Each call then waits its 4s timeout before falling back. getChainId (4s) + Annex getCode then hook() (8s) + getBlockNumber (4s) + one records batch (4s) is at least 20s for a board with one unnoted author. By the next Sunday, today.json has moved to week N+1, so these entries are never in any allow-list, never in a pick and never creditable. They still count toward the wallet's 10-per-week limit. loop.md admits this ('its author can resubmit in a later week'), but the Feedback form shows 'The panel picks each Sunday.' and accepts the entry with no notice. A visitor posting on most days of the week is told their entry is in the weekly loop when it cannot be. This is a scope question as much as a defect, because the brief fixes both Sunday asks and unix/604800 weeks. None is high or critical, so none carries a Foundry proof. All four are in `.imd-findings.json`, ranked by severity. No other file was changed; the untracked dotfiles that `git status` lists were already in the working tree.\n\n1. **Medium: the board and `today.json` can time out on badge lookups** (`web/worker/noted.js:41`). The route won't return any entries until it has checked every author's \"posted a note\" badge on chain. Those checks run six authors at a time with a 4-second timeout per RPC. Only a positive result is cached, so authors with no note are re-checked on every request. The page gives up after 20 seconds and shows an error instead of the entries and the pick. The oracle's read of `today.json` is just as slow.\n   - **Reproduced (one of three specialist findings I kept):** with 37 new authors and each lookup taking 3.5 seconds, the response took about 24.7 seconds.\n   - **Worked out from the code, not run:** if the first configured RPC accepts connections but never answers, the setup reads plus one lookup add up to 20 seconds or more, even with a single unbadged author.\n2. **Medium: most of each week's entries can never be ranked** (`docs/loop.md:18`). Signed weeks start on Thursday, but the snapshot is taken on Sunday. Anything posted from Sunday 00:00 to Thursday 00:00 UTC (96 of 168 hours) is accepted with a 201 and uses up the wallet's weekly quota. It is never in any week's allow-list. Example: an entry signed at 1792281601 belongs to week 2963, but the next Sunday's snapshot is week 2964. `loop.md` admits this, but the form just says \"The panel picks each Sunday.\" This partly comes from the brief itself, which sets both the Sunday schedule and the unix/604800 week. So it's a scope decision for you: rank the previous full week on Sunday, or tell visitors on the form.\n3. **Low: the copy still says \"no backend\"** (`web/src/ui.tsx:237`, `web/src/pages/About.tsx:70`). The Feedback tab now sends the signed message, signature and wallet address to `/api/feedback`, which stores them.\n4. **Low: a Feedback tab picked during startup is lost.** At `web/src/pages/Home.tsx:93`, the home page takes its tab only from the URL. Clicking Feedback while Ethereum is still loading doesn't change the URL, so the page switches to Trade once loading finishes. The typed text is kept in memory, but the visitor has to click Feedback again.\n\n**Checked and found correct:**\n- **Signature and ID:** the signed message is the exact compact JSON in the required key order and is recovered offline. The ID is `keccak256(abi.encode(address, week, text))`.\n- **Limits:** the hourly and weekly limits are enforced one wallet at a time, a retry of the same signed entry is idempotent, and changing the kind for the same text returns 409.\n- **Inputs:** text is capped at 600 UTF-8 bytes and invalid Unicode is rejected, the handle check matches the spec, and requests with a different origin are refused.\n- **Documents:** `today.json` has exactly the requested fields. The adopted-ledger and pick checks are consistent with the manual append helper.\n- **Thesis notice:** the \"venue is not stored on chain\" notice now appears only after priced calls.\n\nI didn't run the existing test suites, since passing tests were already established.","treeHash":null,"usage":{"cachedInputTokens":631095,"inputTokens":24,"model":"claude-opus-5-5","outputTokens":13330,"runtime":"claude","turns":13,"wallClockMs":152196}}],"verification":[{"checks":[],"detail":"paths and tree verified; no suite was run for this kind of work","evaluation":"structural","profile":"none","status":"accepted","submissionHash":"1fe5db9da16343a5d3b52c2034b97a4e5d54901445f865bf8eedb9aae702954f","verifiedTreeHash":"412bad7452806549a0d572b9346311a1f278314a","verifierVersion":"0.1.0+327e1e9f"}]}
