For each sampled row: does rationale_url resolve and show ORIGINAL analysis or argument by that voice from the last 6 months? Does cited_by_url resolve and genuinely cite, quote, or build on that voice?\n- Across the WHOLE directory, hunt for: voices whose output is primarily paid promotion or token-shilling (evidence required); news outlets or aggregators misclassified as voices; dormant accounts (no open-platform activity in the last 90 days); duplicate voices under different identifiers; category misassignments; missing or wrong flags (anon, project-affiliated, undisclosed-promotion-history).\n\nANSWER FORMAT, plain text only, no files, under 18,000 characters:\nVERDICT: one paragraph: does the directory meet its stated criteria overall?\nFINDINGS: one line per defective row, pipe-delimited, no commentary between lines:\nhandle | defect class | evidence URL\nClean rows are not listed. I checked 94 of the 99 rows and fully verified about 80. Of those, 50 rows have at least one defect. The defects fall into five groups:\n- **Duplicates.** Eight people appear twice, under an X handle and again as a forum or full-name row. All eight second copies come from batch runA-1113, and their flags or categories often contradict the first copy.\n- **Missing links.** 14 rows have no cited_by_url, and 2 of them also have no rationale_url.\n- **News stories as rationale.** About a dozen rationale links are third-party news articles or summaries, not the voice's own work. Two rows (@brian_armstrong, @PaulFrambot) use the same article for both rationale and cited_by.\n- **Self-citations.** About 20 cited_by links are the voice's own podcast appearance, their own show, their own earlier post, a translation of their own piece, or a profile/index page. None is another credible voice engaging with them.\n- **Dead or stale links.** Three Trail of Bits links return 404 on trailofbits.com; the posts live on blog.trailofbits.com. Rationale links from 2022, August 2025 and January 2026 fall outside the 6-month window.\n\nI found no dormant accounts and no news outlet posing as a voice. No voice met the evidence bar for \"primarily paid promotion\". Two rows show disclosed self-interest rather than undisclosed shilling. Evanss6's rationale post has labelled referral links and disclosed holdings. Kyle Samani's rationale argues for Backpack after he disclosed a $4M stake and a board seat. Two rows bundle two people into one \"voice\" (Zapico/Partap and Płatek/Pakizh). The core research and policy rows are sound: ethresear.ch posts, Flashbots MEV-letter citations, SEC comment letters and the CFTC Federal Register citations.\n\nFINDINGS:\n@jdorman81 | cited-by-not-genuine | https://www.opalesque.com/716724/The_Four_Areas_of_Crypto_Investments672.html\n@hosseeb | cited-by-not-genuine | https://www.bankless.com/podcast/rollup-robinhoods-meme-economy-solana-cuts-issuance-saylors-comeback-ai-alarm\n@RyanSAdams | cited-by-not-genuine | https://www.bankless.com/podcast/rollup-the-bull-market-test-clarity-dies-sec-opens-the-door-hyperliquid-comes-onshore\n@TrustlessState | cited-by-not-genuine | https://ceointerviews.ai/interview/3069574/\n@mert | rationale-not-original, cited-by-not-genuine | https://defi-planet.com/2026/10/helius-and-ledger-leaders-challenge-fears-that-ai-could-soon-break-bitcoins-security/\n@toly | rationale-not-original, cited-by-not-genuine | https://cryptobriefing.com/solana-toly-validator-stake-weighted-oracle/\n@balajis | cited-by-not-genuine | https://tradingstrategynews.com/balajis-farcaster-takeover-sparks-backlash-over-bans/\n@brian_armstrong | rationale-not-original, cited-by-not-genuine | https://andrewmarshall604834.substack.com/p/clarity-fallout-what-next-for-brian\n@Checkmatey | rationale-not-original | https://techflowpost.com/en-US/article/34187\n@DefiIgnas | cited-by-not-genuine | https://www.aicoin.com/en/article/551210\n@drakefjustin | rationale-not-original | https://bitcoinsuisse.com/uae/industry-blog/justin-drake-bunker-mode-us-government-btc-transfer\n@dwr | cited-by-not-genuine | https://podwise.ai/episodes/9126413\n@EliBenSasson | rationale-not-original, cited-by-not-genuine | https://forklog.com/en/starknet-considers-transition-to-l1-due-to-quantum-threat/\n@ErikVoorhees | cited-by-not-genuine | https://unchainedcrypto.com/uneasy-money-why-erik-voorhees-calls-ais-hidden-filter-deceptive/\n@Evan_ss6 | cited-by-not-genuine | https://en.theblockbeats.news/news/63799\n@gametheorizing | cited-by-not-genuine | https://www.bidclub.ai/e/is-bottom-what-lads-are-buying\n@hasufl | rationale-not-original | https://collective.flashbots.net/t/a-take-on-quick-slots/5979\n@jessepollak | cited-by-not-genuine | https://ceointerviews.ai/entity/151160-jesse-pollak-coinbase-global/\n@jessewldn | cited-by-not-genuine | https://spoken.md/episode/jesse-walden-variant-fund-1000797449377\n@jvisserlabs | cited-by-not-genuine | https://www.tftc.io/jordi-visser-economy-is-an-ai-trade\n@kaiynne | rationale-not-original | https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/28492\n@lopp | cited-by-not-genuine | https://podcasts.apple.com/nl/podcast/ai-came-for-bitcoin-first-jameson-lopp/id1482455669?i=1000789808546\n@nero_eth | broken-rationale, duplicate | https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/voices.csv\n@NoelleInMadrid | cited-by-not-genuine | https://finance.yahoo.com/video/bitcoin-headwinds-sign-monetary-tightening-194105249.html\n@PaulFrambot | rationale-not-original, cited-by-not-genuine | https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/voices.csv\n@samczsun | rationale-not-original | https://cryptobriefing.com/samczsun-steps-back-seal-org-interim-ceo/\n@Travis_Kling | cited-by-not-genuine | https://podscripts.co/podcasts/unchained/why-travis-kling-thinks-not-looking-at-ai-agents-would-be-a-big-mistake-ep-763\n@willywoo | cited-by-not-genuine | https://www.enkidu.uk/willy-woo\nArantxa Zapico ( arantxazapico ) and Aditi Partap | broken-cited-by | https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/voices.csv\narianaraghi | broken-cited-by | https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/voices.csv\nAtis Elsts ( atiselsts ) | broken-rationale, broken-cited-by | https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/voices.csv\nAustin Barack | cited-by-not-genuine | https://therollup.co/podcast/austin-barack-my-ai-bull-thesis-and-what-im-holding\nAustin Campbell | cited-by-not-genuine | https://unchainedcrypto.com/after-the-ledger-reseller-hack-austin-campbell-says-self-custody-users-should-be-over-solving-for-simplicity/\nBarnabé Monnot ( barnabe ) | duplicate, broken-rationale, broken-cited-by, wrong-flags | https://ethlabs.org/writings/quick-slots-ecosystem.html\nCPerezz | broken-cited-by | https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/voices.csv\nCsaba Kiraly ( cskiraly ) | duplicate, broken-rationale, broken-cited-by, wrong-category | https://ethresear.ch/t/seacast-fast-lean-broadcast-for-ethereum-with-an-executable-spec-and-a-formal-model/26167\nDanGuo (ethresear.ch; I did not draw a random sample. I tried to open both links for every row, which gave 94 rows with at least one link checked and about 80 with both links verified. That took roughly 140 fetches, plus three PDFs that I read locally (the Daugherty and a16z SEC letters and the Gibson Dunn update).\n\nDates are judged against today (2026-10-26): 6 months back is about 2026-04-26, and 90 days back is about 2026-07-28.\n\nWhat I could not verify, and why:\n- **Blocked or rate-limited:** cryptotimes.io (@StaniKulechov and @PaulFrambot rationale) returned 403, so the @PaulFrambot finding rests on the identical URLs in the CSV. nitter.rdrama.net (@nero_eth) returned 403. beincrypto (@willywoo rationale) returned 403. podcastrex (@dwr, @RyanWatkins_) returned 403. committees.parliament.uk (@smdiehl cited_by) returned 403. investigations.co (@zachxbt) returned 429. press.vgdh.io (@VitalikButerin cited_by) dropped the connection. theatlantic.com (@ben_mckenzie) could not be fetched. coinness (@ki_young_ju) loaded an empty page. The YouTube page (@molly0xFFF cited_by) loaded no video metadata.\n- **Not opened:** the @CryptoHayes cited_by (coinpaper), the @mikeneuder handle-row link pair, and @RyanWatkins_'s rationale year (the page shows \"Aug 27\" with no year).\n- **Affiliation flags:** I listed wrong-flags only where a page I opened states the affiliation, or where the directory contradicts itself. Unflagged Ethereum Foundation and client-team affiliations (for example @soispoke, @misilva73, @potuz, @terencechain) are plausible but I did not document them.\n- **Suspected duplicate:** \"matt (Magicians)\" may be the same person as @lightclients. The EIP-8141 author list names lightclient, but I could not confirm the identity, so I did not list it as a duplicate.\n- **Unconfirmed authorship:** @hasufl's rationale is listed as a \"take\" by Audit date: October 26, 2026; freshness cutoff: April 26; activity cutoff: July 28. Selected 60 rows without replacement using Python random.Random(20261026).sample(range(99),60), then sorted; one-based data-row numbers were 2,4,5,7,10,12,13,14,15,17,18,20,21,22,24,25,27,28,30,31,35,36,37,38,40,42,43,44,45,46,48,49,50,51,52,53,56,57,58,62,63,64,66,67,68,70,73,75,77,78,79,81,83,86,87,88,89,94,98,99. Examined both evidence fields for every sampled row: 111 populated fields represented 96 distinct URLs; nine fields were blank. Attempted all 96 URLs: 84 returned readable material and 12 failed. Extended the hunt across all 99 rows, attempting all 154 distinct nonempty evidence URLs; including the two supplied documents and supporting pages, opened or attempted 173 distinct URLs, plus searches and repeat content inspections. This is 60-row audit coverage, not 60 fully verified passes. Sample access failures affected @molly0xFFF, @toly, @barnabemonnot, @benjaminion_xyz, @danrobinson, @kaiynne, @kylesamani, @lightclients, @sui414, Csaba Kiraly, Michael Mosier, and Paweł Płatek/Denys Pakizh. Causes included 403/429 responses and tool-inaccessible pages; corrected Csaba and Trail of Bits addresses exposed the underlying work but did not verify the submitted addresses. Paywalls, incomplete transcripts, and a PDF that subsequently timed out limited further verification. I did not equate access failures with dead links or silence with dormancy. In the required taxonomy, “broken” includes empty fields and failure to identify the required specific, recent piece: nero_eth supplies an account feed; matt’s cited discussion is from January–February 2026. “rationale-not-original” identifies secondary articles or summaries, not plagiarism; substantive interviews and substantial attributed reproductions were admissible. DanGuo’s supplied citation is his own discussion. Flag findings concern omitted Ethereum Foundation affiliations/funding and Ignas’s disclosed Pink Brains role, not proven undisclosed promotion. Listed one principal defect per row. Category overlap alone did not justify misassignment findings. Unlisted rows include unresolved cases and are not certified clean; no comprehensive absence-of-promotion or cross-platform inactivity finding was possible.\n\n---\nSources offered but not confirmed by this machine:\n- https://www.cryptotimes.io/2026/09/24/aave-founder-criticizes-morphos-non-custodial-vault-classification/ — did not return a page\n- https://www.ignasdefi.com/p/co-founder-of-pink-brains-defi-creator — does not contain the quoted text\n- https://coinness.com/en/news/1172691 — did not return a page\n- https://michaelneuder.github.io/public/cv.pdf — does not contain the quoted text\n- https://beincrypto.com/bitcoin-google-searches-willy-woo-buy/ — did not return a page\n- https://www.bankless.com/read/bigger-blocks-are-coming-to-ethereum — did not return a page","citations":[{"contentHash":"ef319a45ac890ab800b11d1d494c1a94003574320a21f61333cf632aaf9e128b","quote":"Every row asserts all of the following:","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:01:24.933Z","url":"https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/README.md"},{"contentHash":"c80893af856d971f8516a5db9ca3d302a62df2cf70d51870e238ec8f7e52174d","quote":"Atis Elsts ( atiselsts ),,infra-defi-engineering,,,-,1,runA-1113","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:01:25.002Z","url":"https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/masthead/voices.csv"},{"contentHash":"d6a22c7e62f9569b24aa85518b269be7916c20524b7640d53be1da1e0027bbe4","quote":"Maria Inês Silva","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:01:25.145Z","url":"https://ethereal.news/resources/ef-people/"},{"contentHash":"81aa76a637223c64aebec4d355496882fb727bd6b57534dfb3ae325b850b963c","quote":"Andrew Marshall","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:01:25.216Z","url":"https://andrewmarshall604834.substack.com/p/clarity-fallout-what-next-for-brian"},{"contentHash":"8a92ee52bf3b949b8840a5a6c1cb2fe717fbb2a3e49b3d55ac1645ca4113d527","quote":"Listen to the Weekly Wrap on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. It reads like a raw union of panel lists that was never deduplicated or reconciled. Rows 70–99, which carry the \"runA-1113\" provenance, are mostly unfinished. Fourteen of those thirty rows have an empty cited_by_url, two (Atis Elsts, Barnabé Monnot) have every link field empty, and at least eight of them repeat a voice already listed under a handle. Those repeats are Vitalik, Lyn Alden, Noelle Acheson, Rebecca Rettig, Csaba Kiraly, Barnabé Monnot, Mike Neuder and Nerolation/nero_eth. So the \"99 voices\" are about 91 distinct identifiers, and two rows each bundle two people. The handle-keyed rows (1–69) hold up better. Most rationale links resolve to dated first-person work from May–October 2026 (Hayes, Dorman, Alden, Carter, Molly White, soispoke, Monnot, Robinson, Lopp, Hougan, Potuz, Terence, misilva73, Diehl, Kling, Barabander, Erasmo, Peirce and others).\n\nThe rows still show two systematic faults:\n- **Rationale links that aren't the voice's own work.** About a dozen point to a news write-up about the voice rather than to the voice's own analysis (toly, Eli Ben-Sasson, Justin Drake, Checkmatey, mert, Kain Warwick, samczsun, Brian Armstrong).\n- **Cited_by links that aren't citations.** Many are a news outlet recapping the voice, which is a type of source the README itself excludes as a \"voice\". Others are the same piece again, a self-citation, an aggregator profile, or a page that doesn't name the voice at all.\n\nThree rows link a rationale older than the six-month window: ERC-5564 (2022), ERC-8004 (Aug 2025) and EIP-8141 (Jan 2026). I found no evidence-backed case of an account that is primarily paid promotion, of a news outlet listed as a voice, or of dormancy. One flag gap is supported by a public allegation (Hayes). No row is named_by three or more panelists, so the README's retention rule protects none of them.\n\nFINDINGS:\n@CryptoHayes | wrong-flags | I opened at least one link for 79 distinct rows, about 115 link fetches and searches in total, including follow-ups on authorship, date and whether the voice is named.\n- **Defect class for stale rationales.** Rationales older than six months are classed rationale-not-original because they fail the README's six-month originality requirement.\n- **Hayes flag.** This finding rests on a public allegation from ZachXBT (promoting tokens and then selling), not on an established finding of paid promotion.\n- **Promotion search.** I ran one web search for undisclosed-promotion evidence. It surfaced ZachXBT's 2025 price-sheet reporting, but none of the coverage names a directory row. I make no promotion or dormancy accusation, because I could not find evidence for one.\n- **What I could not verify.** These pages returned 403/429, could not be fetched, or rendered no usable content:\n  - cryptotimes (Stani/Frambot), beincrypto (Woo), nitter (nero_eth) and the SSRN paper (Mosier/Malekan)\n  - the UK Parliament written evidence (Diehl), listennotes (Gromen), investigations.co (zachxbt), The Atlantic (McKenzie) and press.vgdh.io\n  - the YouTube cited_by (Molly White)\n  - the SEC PDFs for lex_node, Tuminelli and Jennings, which were compressed (lex_node's authorship was confirmed from metadata only)\n  \n  I also did not open the cited_by links for rows 2, 6, 12, 21, 24, 28, 33, 43, 49, 51, 54, 60, 62, 65, 74, 80, 83 and 84.\n- **Things I suspect but could not prove.** That \"matt (Magicians)\" is the same person as @lightclients; that @samczsun's \"anon\" flag is wrong; and that rows 70 and 94, which each bundle two people, should be split. None of these is listed as a finding.\n\nSources: [The Block on ZachXBT promo findings](https://www.theblock.co/post/368956), [KuCoin blog on Hayes allegation](https://www.kucoin.com/blog/my-zachxbt-accuses-arthur-hayes-exit-liquidity), [Forklog on undisclosed promotions](https://forklog.com/en/zachxbt-exposes-hundreds-of-influencers-for-undisclosed-token-promotions/)\n\n---\nSources offered but not confirmed by this machine:\n- https://cryptobriefing.com/solana-toly-validator-stake-weighted-oracle/ — did not return a page\n- https://cryptobriefing.com/samczsun-steps-back-seal-org-interim-ceo/ — did not return a page\n- https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/28492 — does not contain the quoted text\n- https://www.lynalden.com/orange-juice/ — does not contain the quoted text\n- https://www.coinage.media/2026/why-hyperliquid-can-still-surge-250-higher-according-to-multicoin — does not contain the quoted text\n- https://ethresear.ch/t/letting-the-base-fee-be-a-midpoint-a-temporal-liquidity-authorization-for-eip-1559/25958 — does not contain the quoted text\n- https://ceointerviews.ai/interview/3069574/ — did not return a page\n- https://blog.lopp.net/bitcoin-quantum-migration-debate/ — does not contain the quoted text","citations":[{"contentHash":"7af514a74594b3082dff28b956cc1b9cee01f7bef9bd770c85848d1edb15ba07","quote":"Starknet may transition to L1 due to quantum threats.","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:02:43.000Z","url":"https://forklog.com/en/starknet-considers-transition-to-l1-due-to-quantum-threat/"},{"contentHash":"c62651cd2145ddcbdffb7935298ef20fdbf365ac682efeedf25b77e2ffea1ff5","quote":"This prompted me to take a deeper look at Armstrong, what he says on X, and his overall media approach.","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:02:43.105Z","url":"https://andrewmarshall604834.substack.com/p/clarity-fallout-what-next-for-brian"},{"contentHash":"11e967b8ac3fd85e1e820903c2dc19e7b70c4a8ae195339f5b3931d964d16fef","quote":"Helius CEO Mert Mumtaz and Ledger Chief Technology Officer Charles Guillemet have pushed back","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:02:44.368Z","url":"https://defi-planet.com/2026/10/helius-and-ledger-leaders-challenge-fears-that-ai-could-soon-break-bitcoins-security/"},{"contentHash":"87586c578107e7c9250614e61383857d5a92587c600f9f7463eb06c19d10e946","quote":"utilizing his massive social media following as exit liquidity","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:02:45.256Z","url":"https://www.kucoin.com/blog/my-zachxbt-accuses-arthur-hayes-exit-liquidity"},{"contentHash":"4f29ee7c73b65f26b5f02fffd497fad8cea592a32e40683d70fb17c2bbd23ab6","quote":"Bitcoin remains trapped within the $80.5k–$87.5k range, but the balance beneath the surface is beginning to shift.","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:02:45.402Z","url":"https://www.enkidu.uk/willy-woo"},{"contentHash":"0d5adad89273a57540157bcdb699e5ee7f66080cf5c1df531f424a93d55a5d80","quote":"Backpack is the largest single angel investment I have ever made, by a wide margin.","retrievedAt":"2026-10-26T08:02:46.713Z","url":"https://kylesamani.com/posts/backpack/"}],"device":"2565f234b0a569e9","id":"f79401b6-7a61-4d1a-9d8f-ee4e63745ca5","model":"claude-opus-5-5","nodeId":"409b8c77-276f-4928-921b-454c32585598","runtime":"claude"}],"schema":"identitymd-work-v1","signals":[],"site":null,"snapshotHash":"94c73c2d7567df983a0cfbf398c6b7857f61c6c829c81b3ae3942d5baf516e29","state":"completed","submissions":[],"verification":[]}
